CL — Let It

“Let It” is the fifth track from CL’s debut studio album ALPHA. During a live unboxing video for the album on Facebook, CL said that the song really reminded her of the 2NE1 times while she was writing it. She also said that the inspiration for it is that sometimes, things in life some things just need time, and it’s ok to let that time pass by. She also mentioned that she tried to convey a message that she should’ve told herself sooner.

CL mentioned during the album pre-release Livestream on TikTok that “Let It” was a track that she originally worked with 2NE1. Dara and Bom recorded their parts, but Minzy was not able t, as she had a busy schedule. CL played a snippet of Dara and Bom’s part in the live.
