'Don't Dream It's Over' is a 1986 released song from their self-titled album. In their home country New Zealand it hit #1 in the charts, as with Canada. It reached #2 in the Us, and #8 in neighbouring country Australia. At the 1986 Countdown Australian Music Awards the song was nominated for three awards, winning Best Video. It was later covered by a variety of artists including Paul Young, Stan Walker, and Sixpence None the Richer.
